          we have planted a coconut plant near the iguttapa temple,water-based ponds-                          pools areas.

Plants are a major necessity in the balance of nature, people’s lives, and our terrain. We may not realize it, but plants are the ultimasource of food for almost 95% of the world population so says the National Group of Food. It’s a fact that over 7,000 species of plants are being consumed todayPlants are one of the reasons that we get clean water; as they help regulate the water cycle. They also help water movefrom the soil to the atmosphere through a process called transpiration. we have planted a Coconut plant near the Iguttappa based ponds/pool areas.  the trees are important in environmental and ecology concern. Coconut plants were planted through students. we are four members in our group in the planting work. Due to rain and ,availability,90% trees are getting survival and people are involving in the treeplanting.

Tree planting is recognised as one of the most engaging, environmentally friendly activities that people can participate in to help the planet when don properly.

trees provide numerous long term and short term benefits they not only look nice, but they also remove and store carbon from the atmosphere, slow heavy rain and thus reduce the risk if flooding, improve air quality and reduce the urban heat island effect by reflecting sunlight and providing shade.

coconut trees are some of the most exotic and healthy plants in the world. every part of coconut tree can be useful and nutritious.

 we had visit krishi vigyan kendra in gonikoppal to get  a an knowlege about the plants and soil,there are some lecuture explined how to test the soil and what are the reqired an a  componetsto test it

Your soil needs to be able to provide nutrients to plants. Otherwise, your plants just won’t grow well. Having the right soil pH (level of acidity) means your plants can take up the necessary nutrients in the soil. If your pH is too high, many nutrients such as phosphorus and iron may become less available; if your soil pH is too low, it can be toxic to plants. Without healthy soil, it is very dsuccessful garden.we had visited Krishi Vigynan Kendra gonikoappa to get a knowledge about the plants and soil, there some lecturers explained how to test the soil and what are the required components to test soil. Soil test is to analize the soil sample to determinnutrients, composition and other characteristics like acidity or pH levels. 

Another reason we test the soil is because we won’t need to rely on fertilizing the soil too much. If you start with healthy soil, you won’t need so much “fixing.” Before you start dumping on the lime and fertilizers, your first step should be taking a soil sample to send off for testing.
